TERMS AND CONDITIONS

AGREEMENT

By enrolling in a course with e-word Serbian language school (Удружење Електрореч) or paying for classes, the student automatically agrees with these Terms and Conditions.

 

BOOKINGS 

If a student books a class less than 24 before their class, e-word (Удружење Електрореч) cannot guarantee a reply to the inquiry. 

When booking group classes, it must be done in agreement with all participants.

When a student wishes to book a class at a certain time, e-word (Удружење Електрореч) cannot guarantee availability at that certain time. However, once a booking has been confirmed, e-word (Удружење Електрореч) guarantees to hold a class at that time, unless cancellations occur, as explained in the following text of this document. 

All the bookings are to be made in a written form, by text message, e-mail, Skype, or any other written form, not by verbal agreement. Verbal agreements will not be taken into consideration.

 

CANCELATIONS 

If a student cancels less than 24 hours before the agreed time of the class, he/she pays 100% of the price of the class. 

If a student does not show up for the agreed class, or cancels less than 24 hours before the agreed class, the student pays the full amount of the price for that class. 

Cancellation of group classes: If one of the students cancels a class in a time frame shorter than 24 hours before the beginning of the class, that class is charged in full, just like it would have been if it was held regularly. At the same time, the other participants can attend the class regardless of the attendance of other students. If all students in a group wish to cancel a class, it is important to do so in writing and at least 24 hours before the start of the class, otherwise, the full price of the class is charged, and the cost of the class is covered by the students in the ratio that applies regularly.

If a student cancels a class 24 or more working hours before the class, he/she does not pay anything. However, if the classes are consecutively canceled more than three times in a row, e-word (Удружење Електрореч) can no longer guarantee to keep the fixed time slot. 

If a teacher cancels a class less than 24 hours before the beginning of the class, and the e-word school does not provide a substitute teacher, the student has the next class free of charge. 

All the cancellations are to be made in a written form, by text message, e-mail, Skype, or any other written form, not by verbal agreement. Verbal agreements will not be taken into consideration. 

 

CHANGING TIME SLOTS

Every change made in the initial agreement of time slots of classes held with e-word (Удружење Електрореч) will be seen as cancellations and new bookings. Therefore, if there are changes being made in the schedule, all terms and conditions from the BOOKINGS and CANCELLATIONS sections of this document will apply. As a consequence, it is not possible to change the time slot of a class without both the original class and the newly booked class being compensated for (that equally applies to e-word (Удружење Електрореч) and students).

 

RUNNING LATE 

If a student is late for a class, the class will be held for the duration of the remaining time left between the arrival of the student and the agreed time of the end of that class and will be charged in full. 

If a teacher is late for a class, that class will be held in the agreed duration, either immediately or later on when both the student and the teacher are available. 

 

RESULTS 

e-word (Удружење Електрореч) is and always will be committed to providing the best possible service. However, e-word (Удружење Електрореч) cannot guarantee for students’ results.

 

PAYMENTS 

For group classes, the payment is in advance, before the beginning of each month. 

For students who purchase packages, the payment is before the beginning of the lectures. 

For students attending individual classes, the payment is per each class. 

For students attending individual classes, but split by multiple students, the price is set by hour, not by the number of students attending. Therefore, the price is fixed regardless of the number of students attending each class. The payment for such classes is the payment is per each class. 

If a student does not manage to make the agreed payment on time, the classes will be canceled until further notice – until the agreed payment has been made.

 

PRIVACY 

e-word (Удружење Електрореч) is committed to safeguarding the personal information entrusted to us by our clients. Personal information means information about an identifiable individual. This includes an individual’s name, home address and phone number, age, sex, marital or family status, an identifying number, financial information, educational history, etc. Besides personal information, e-word (Удружење Електрореч), commits not to disclose any private information acquired during the course of lessons or some other type of cooperation.

We use and disclose clients’ personal information only for the purposes for which the information was collected, except as authorized by law. For example, we may use clients’ contact information to deliver our services, newsletters, or data. If we wish to use or disclose your personal information for any new business purpose, we will ask for your consent. 

We protect clients’ personal information in a manner appropriate for the sensitivity of the information. We make every reasonable effort to prevent any loss, misuse, disclosure, or modification of personal information, as well as any unauthorized access to personal information. 

 

LIABILITY WAIVER 

The undersigned hereby releases and forever discharges e-word (Удружење Електрореч), its administrators, agents, assigns, and all other persons, firms, corporations and educational institutions, who it might be claimed to be liable, none of whom admit any liability from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action or suits of any kind or nature whatsoever and particularly on account of all injuries known and unknown, both to person and property, which have resulted or may in the future develop from any accident which might occur as a result of any social, educational, athletic or any other event or activity organized on the premises of the e-word (Удружење Електрореч). 

The undersigned hereby declares that the terms of this settlement have been completely read and are fully understood and voluntarily accepted for the purpose of making a full and final compromise adjustment and settlement of any and all claims, stipulated or otherwise, on account of the injuries and damages above mentioned, and for the express purposes of precluding forever any further or additional claims arising out of any possible accident by the undersigned. 

It is further agreed that the release expresses a full and complete settlement of liability, regardless of the adequacy of the aforesaid and that the acceptance of this release shall not operate as an admission of the liability on the part of anyone, nor as estoppel, waiver, or bar with respect to any claim the part or parties release may have against the undersigned. 

This release is binding on my heirs, executors, assigns, and administrators. 

This is a voluntary release for any and all future injuries or accidents. The undersigned is aware of the risks of attending, and participating in social, athletic and all other events held and hereby assumes all risks. The risks include those foreseen and unforeseen, known and unknown. 

 

CHANGES IN TERMS AND CONDITIONS

e-word (Удружење Електрореч) keeps the right to make any necessary changes in this document, at any given moment, but not without informing our students first and consenting with them.

 

LEGALLY BINDING

This document is legally binding and valid.
