WELCOME TO “SUPER BRAVO” SERBIAN LANGUAGE VIDEO COURSE, UNIT 005 – READING AND WRITING

In the previous video, we started reading and writing in Serbian, both in Cyrillic and Latin. It is a great step because it enables you to learn new vocabulary on your own. Now that you know how to read a and pronounce words in Serbian, you can make your own dictionary or cheat sheets.

In this video, we will take a look at some more international words, used in Serbian and in many other European languages. You will be able to compare the words with their English equivalents, just mind the phonemic writing and the slight differences in pronunciation. This is a great exercise that shows you that even the vocabulary borrowed from other languages still follow the phonemic system. That way, you can compare and continue getting used to the Serbian reading and writing system.
