“Stil života” (or “Lifestyle” in English) is Module 2 in the series of A2 Serbian language video-lessons. The A2 level of Serbian language is perfect for everyone who has completed an A1 language course but still feels insecure to move on to the next (A2) level. It introduces students to the new level easily and, later on, becomes more complex, rounding up the whole A2 level in order to fulfill the CEFR standards. The “Stil života” module consists of 12 short videos. It covers different aspects of grammar and introduces new vocabulary. Just in case you haven’t gone through Module 1, you can still catch up and get back to this one later.
How to learn from this “Lifestyle” course – a step-by-step explanation Step 1. Download the PDF version of the module. Step 2. This is optional. If you wish to complete exercises and write them down, you can print out the learning material. Step 3. Go through all of the videos (video podcasts) and follow the instructions. Step 4. If you wish to send your exercises for correction or you have some questions, write at info@e-word.co.

In this second podcast of Module 2 in the series of A2 SuperBravo course, you will be able to learn about using the accusative case noun forms with the verb VOLETI.
Stil života, Video 23 – Describing things
Let’s use adjectives and describe things! This is a game – by matching different colors with different descriptions in Serbian, you will find out the meanings of these words and be able to list things that you think are exciting, delicious, fantastic, and awful.
Stil života, Video 24 – Practice reading and pronunciation, start asking and answering questions in Serbian
In this Serbian language podcast, we will practice reading, learn more vocabulary on the topic of “lifestyle” and repeat forming questions, and providing answers to these questions. You will be able to form questions both about the fictitious character from the text and about your own life. So, by using Kosta Božić as an example, you will actually be able to apply some of the vocabulary and describe yourself.
Stil života, Video 25 – Forming questions and replies in Serbian, matching different activities and the case forms they use
We are continuing with the exercise from Podcast 24 – asking questions and giving answers in Serbian. There is one more exercise – matching verbs and nouns. Don’t forget that different verbs (actions) require different cases, so let that guide you in this quest of finding the perfect verb-noun match.
Stil života, Video 26 – Matching countries and their languages
WHAT IS THE NAME OF YOUR COUNTRY AND YOUR LANGUAGE IN SERBIAN? Write it down in the comments (even if you don’t know the exact words in Serbian)!
Names of different languages in Serbian are expressed with adjective forms. In this podcast, you will be able to learn the names of different languages and practice using the locative case to say in what country people use what language. So, can you match the names of the countries with the names of the languages spoken there?
Stil života, Video 27 – Practice the Genitive case by describing different countries
ANYONE FROM THE USA, GERMANY, SPAIN, OR LONDON (THE UK)?
Now we are going to practice the genitive case in Serbian by describing flags, food, and colours of different countries around the world. If you are not just into grammar, we will add a bit of vocabulary – the languages spoken in these countries and some typical food, so lots of things covered here 🙂
Stil života, Video 28 – Adjective forms in Serbian & interrogative sentences
Here you can find two very practical exercises – one focuses on adjective forms and the other will help you form questions in Serbian. You will be able to hear all the answers and explanations in this podcast, so you will make quite an accomplishment with this module. Enjoy!
Stil života, Video 29 – Imagine yourself as a spy!
It is time to use your Serbian language skills and tell two stories – in one, you will be James Bond, and in the other, you will be yourself.
In this podcast (and in the next one), I will give examples of these descriptions, but as I can’t really anticipate what is it that you’d like to say, the best thing would be for you to write these stories and send them to me so that I could give you feedback. Thanks!
Stil života, Video 30 – Describe people in Serbian and practice writing
Remember the previous lesson (video 29)? This is a continuation. After some inspiration, it is time to write THREE stories and with each one get better at describing people in Serbian.
As in the previous module, in this one the best thing would be for you to write these stories and send them to me so that I could give you feedback. Thanks!
Stil života, Video 31 – Describe your favourite things
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE…? – Can you name your favourite drinks, food, sports, and days of the week in Serbian? Learn how to describe the things you like, In Serbian!
Stil života, Video 32 – Practice conversation in Serbian by completing an interview
To sum up the vocabulary learned so far, you are going to give an interview. Imagine you were a famous person describing yourself in a newspaper article. You can also help the journalist put together the questions.
In this final podcast of Module 2, you will practice forming questions and giving answers in Serbian. This is a very important type of exercise as many people struggle with forming questions in a foreign language. For you, the experience will be in Serbian.
