The future tense in Serbian
The future tense in Serbian (Futur I)
If you are wondering how to correctly form the future tense in Serbian, you should know that there are three possible forms and all three mean completely the same and they are equally used, so you can decide which form suits you best. Although HTETI can be used as a regular verb, with the meaning “to want”, here it is not in that function, but it is an auxiliary verb used solely for the formation of this (FUTUR I) tense.
