SERBIAN LANGUAGE VIDEO COURSE
What is the SuperBravo video course?
“SuperBravo Serbian for Foreigners” is a video course for absolute beginners, representing a foundation programme for all standard courses. Language courses usually start from “the false beginner’s level”. This means that students are well-versed in the grammar of their mother tongue and that they know basic phrases, reading, and writing in Serbian. However, this is usually not the case, and by skipping this step, gaps in students’ knowledge are made.
That is why this course is perfect for absolute beginners, especially for those who have never studied any Slavic language. I call it the A0 level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), from A1 to C2. Level A0 does not exist in the official classification, so it implies an absolute base, a solid foundation for further learning.
The organisation of the course
Each lesson represents a single thematic unit. These units are interconnected and follow the e-word system of learning Serbian as a foreign language.
The course consists of the following elements:
- PDF documents with theory and practice – 12 units in total,
- Videos with explanations and answers – 12 units in total,
- A test after each module – 12 tests in total,
- A 30-minute online lesson after each test – 6 hours of individual online classes,
- An official certificate.
The history of SuperBravo
The course is the second edition of the book “Serbian Language for Complete Beginners” and the product of 15 years of experience in teaching. In this course, the lessons are written and explained in the way in which I teach students in regular classes.
The name “SuperBravo” was given by students who noticed that I often encourage them with the words “super” and “bravo”, and so the name remained. This way, I would like to thank them for the idea!

The full video course
You will receive 12 modules and 12 tests in total in order to complete the course. The free introductory course is the first of 12 modules that will be covered in this course. Therefore, you will receive another 11 modules! The SuperBravo video course costs 200 EUR and covers the following topics:
- Grammar: the nominative case personal pronouns, possessive pronouns, the gender of nouns, plural of nouns, adjectives, demonstrative pronouns, the verb “biti“, question words.
- Vocabulary: numbers, food, greetings, colours, ordinal numbers, telling time, professions, family.
- Communication: saying “hi”, asking about peoples’ health, describing yourself, introducing each-other, shopping for food, describing objects and places.
How does it work?
Step 1. Please write to me at info@e-word.co so that I could send you the payment details and the link to the course.
Step 2. You will receive a new module after each one is done successfully and that includes a test and a 30-minute Skype class after each module. This way, you will be motivated to successfully complete each part, be mentored, and navigated in the right direction.
Step 3. You will have four months to complete the course and during that period, I will be available for you via email to answer questions, check homework, if you need any help or explanation.
Step 4. After the course, you will receive a certificate of completion.
